SPDY is an internet protocol created by Google that aims to speed up web access and tighten security through compression, multiplexing and prioritization. Not all websites support SPDY optimization, and for sites that support sometimes, errors will also appear.

One error that occurred was when I would open a site from Google, Wikipedia, Reddit, Tumblr or other sites on Google Chrome because an error message appeared ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR.

How to fix ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR

1.The first way to correct an SPDY error is simply to type chrome://net-internals/#sockets in Google Chrome.

then you can click button Flush socket pools.

2.The second way is to disable SPDY every time you run the Chrome browser. How to deactivate SPDY is to create a new shortcut and add a command –use-spdy = off in the target field.

3.If you use Avast Antivirus, you can also add sites that have errors, so Avast does not scan them. Open Avast, go to Settings> Active Protection> click Customize in the Web Shield section, then enter the problem url name of the site into the URL to exclude that website. (make sure you trust the site’s reputation to avoid unwanted things)
