What is Google Alerts ? Google alerts is the one of Google features to monitor anything on the web and then have links to any matching content sent directly to your email address each day, or when new content is available to you.
If you have Google account you can manage Google Alerts such as view, create , edit, delete Google Alerts using the manage your Alerts page, Click on the Edit button and you will be alter any of the original settings using the simple drop-down menus.
How to create Google Alerts
1.Typing www.google.com/alerts on Google homepage, and in the Google Alerts screen you can click minus sign to exclude words and the site prefix to find specific types of website.
2.Using show options menu, you can choose to tell Google to only provide content of a specific type is sent to you, Everything alerts include results from Google Web Search, Google Blog Search and Google News.
3.This step is to choose delivery date, the default is once a day, its means Google Alerts will check for the new result once per day and emails you if it finds new results.
4.On the section How Many, you can set “Only the best results” to avoid low quality results. This allows Google to filter results to those most relevant to your query and those of high quality. If you prefer you can change this Setting to “All results”.
5.Enter the email address to where you want your alerts delivered. its safe to type your email here, and not worry Google will not use your email to spam you.
6.If you prefer and if you are signed in to a Google Account when creating alert, you can choose to have the result sent via RSS feed, and you can read your feed in any RSS feed reader.
