In September 2018, Apple introduced their new generation smartphone, the iPhone XS, which is the highest version of all iPhones they have. This variant has top-level specifications such as a 5.8-inch OLED screen resolution 1255 2.436 with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. Then there is also support for Dolby Vision, HDR10 to display HDR content, wide color gamut range, 3D Touch, True-tone display, and 120 Hz touch sensor.
In addition to the iPhone XS, they also introduced the iPhone XR which did not have the screen specifications like the iPhone XS. The iPhone XR is equipped with an IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 828 x 1,792 pixels with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. This 6.1-inch iPhone has a True-tone screen feature, wide color gamut range, and of course a 120 Hz touch sensor.
Like the iPhone X, both the iPhone XS and XR are not equipped with a physical Home button at the bottom of the screen because they want to display a screen wider than other iPhones. Therefore, to do a screenshot on the iPhone X, XS, and XR not by pressing the power button together with the Home button.
Here’s how to do a screenshot on all three iPhones:
1. Press the volume up button and the button on the right side simultaneously.
2. Tap preview the screenshot on the top left to edit and mark, or press and hold to immediately share it.
3. Press the Done button on the top right side. then you will be asked if you want to save or delete screenshots. Choose ‘Save’ to save the screenshot.
Well, that’s how screenshots on the iPhone X, XS, and XR. The method is not as easy as the iPhone ‘normal’. But you will get used to it as time goes on.
